What has happend so far...

Cranes, hoists or construction machinery are indispensable wherever loads have to be moved into place efficiently and precisely. Intelligent control systems and safety technology in the drive train create the conditions for carrying out these demanding tasks. In the web seminar, Kevin Zysk (Sales Engineer Brakes and Clutches) and Sebastian Wietzorrek (Application Engineer) will present how you can set your material handling application in motion efficiently.

Wind turbines are becoming larger and more powerful. Outputs of 6-8 megawatts onshore and up to 15 megawatts offshore are no longer uncommon. But what does this development mean for pitch and yaw drive technology? And what is important for brakes within the wind turbine? Sebastian Eicke (Head of Export Sales Electronics) and Dirk Ehlert (Application Automation and Drives) provide answers and demonstrate the possibilities that KEB's system solutions offer for your wind turbines.

Industrial robots are taking over more and more tasks in production. They assemble, transport – and ensure greater efficiency. With this degree of automation, it is particularly important to have brakes that guarantee precision, speed and safety. Simon Janke (Sales Brakes and Clutches at KEB) explains in the web seminar how this can be realised, what advantages are opened up by robotics and what challenges brakes have to meet in practice.

Find out about your drive solution with KEB Automation and what software innovations we are offering for your application – current and upcoming. With these possibilities of the COMBIVERT S6 and F6 drive controllers you get your machines and plants future-proof for a wide performance range. Our hosts Tobias Wenneker (Product Manager Drives) and Tobias Grabbe (Head of Electronics Development – Software) will give you an update on features such as PROFINET, CAN Crosscommunication, Safety and more.

Powerful devices and diagnostic equipment have been part and parcel of modern medicine for a long time. Within these high-tech applications, clutches and brakes from KEB Automation take on the task of safely holding and connecting. In the web seminar, you can find out which requirements the use in medical technology places on clutches and brakes and with which solutions KEB can contribute to improved medical care. (Language: German)

KEB drive controllers are allrounders – this is also reflected in their compatibility with various third-party systems. Using the TwinCat automation software as an example, Niklas Dähling (Service) and Alexander Knorn (Development Electronics) will show you how to optimally configure your KEB Drive Controller and how to avoid error messages. (Language: German)

How can errors in automation systems be prevented? These and other questions are answered by KEB Automation with the “Digital Twin”. Tobias Wenneker and Manuel Brose show how you can use simulation models to detect and solve problems at an early stage – and thus avoid unwanted downtimes. Concrete use cases and a look at simulation models of KEB frequency inverters show the advantages that the “Digital Twin” can have in practice.

With functional safety – also encoderless – you protect users and machines against a wide range of hazards. Along the way, you can also reduce costs and increase efficiency. Experts: Thomas Peters (Head of Application Sales) und Bernd Tünnermann (Technical Trainer)

Servo pumps are the optimum solution for hydraulic systems with highly dynamic control engineering requirements. Get to know your advantages and benefits by using drive controllers with integrated function for (multi-)servo pump control in combination with the right servo motors.

You have the choice: synchronous or asynchronous motor, with gearbox or just the gearbox. Daniel Lehmann (Product Manager Motors) and a colleague will introduce you to the possibilities you can get with KEB motors in your machines. The KEB-Drive is the tool for this: Here you will find all information about the gearbox and motor range. It is the tool for your selection.

When energy efficiency becomes simple: Do you have recurring machine cycles with regenerative energy? Learn in our web seminar from Frank Weber and Ethem Demirkol (Application Engineers) which advantages result from supply/regeneration units and what you have to consider – exemplified by passive (COMBIVERT R6) and active systems (Active Infeed Converter, AIC).

In Part 3 of the webinar series, Andreas Münchenberger (Technical Trainer) goes into more details about homing, rotary table positioning and spindle orientation. With the Profile Position Mode of the CiA 402 standard, you can position without any licence costs for a Motion Library.

Web seminar (Language: English)

Do you want to operate two different motors in your machine one after the other with only one drive controller? This is where the recipe management function in the COMBIVERT F6/S6 comes into play. Bernd Tünnermann (Technical Trainer) will show you how it is implemented and what other use cases are possible.

Web seminar (Language: English)

In the second part of the webinar series, Andreas Münchenberger (Technical Trainer) will show you, among other things, the Profile Position Mode in “Single Set-Point” mode, position and/or speed override as well as software and hardware end position monitoring. With the Profile Position Mode of the CiA 402 standard, you can position without licence costs for a Motion Library.

Web seminar (Language: English)

You have positioning tasks, but a software licence would drive up the costs? Then you should not miss this web seminar series by Andreas Münchenberger (Technical Trainer). With the Profile Position Mode of the CiA 402 standard, you can position without licence costs for a Motion Library. Topics of the introductory course include the basic parameterisation as well as the control and feedback of standard and operating mode-specific bits in the control word.
